“the Savior invites us to return and walk with Him. This invitation to walk with Jesus Christ is an invitation to accompany Him to Gethsemane and from Gethsemane to Calvary and from Calvary to the Garden Tomb. It is an invitation to observe and apply His great atoning sacrifice, whose reach is as individual as it is infinite. It is an invitation to repent, to draw upon His cleansing power, and to grasp His loving, outstretched arms. It is an invitation to be at peace” (Bishop Waddell April 2016 Conference).
WE HAD A BAPTISM WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!! YAY FOR SANDRAAAAAAA! SHE DID IT! SHE DIDN’T SMOKE ALL WEEEEEEEEK BEFORE HER BAPTISM. SHE WAS SO HAPPY. IT WAS SO COOL TO WATCH HER CHANGE HER LIFE AND GET BAPTIZED!!!!!
I survived my first transfer in the field!!!! SWEET. Another six weeks down! Also shout-out to all my letter-senders back at home (and in Malaysia). I got 14 letters in one transfer, so basically I am winning here in Argentina. Not to mention I got two packages too. I am loved.
This week we had to travel to Concordia twice. The first time for Zone Conference, which was awesome. I really enjoyed it. President Perez talked about how we need to have faith to be obedient and find people to teach, so I am working on having more faith! He also reminded us that the goal for our mission is to have one baptism every month, so we are looking for someone for December! Then we had District Conference with all the branches in our zone. Our branch was the choir for the meeting so that was fun fun.
Our investigators are doing well. I feel like we are kind of in a rut where no one understands why they need to be baptized, which basically means we are doing something wrong lol. But we’ll figure it out hahaha.
Wish us luck this week. I love and miss you all SO SO SO SO SO MUCH.
