Week 14: “La paz os dejo, mi paz os doy;”

“yo no os la doy como el mundo la da. No se turbe vuestro corazón ni tenga miedo” (Juan 14:27). As we turn our wills over to God, we truly can feel peace in every aspect of our lives. This Thanksgiving I am grateful that God’s will was different than mine, and that I get to be here in cute, hot, little Federal, Argentina! I have felt so much PEACE on my mission, and I know it is because I am doing the Father’s will and not mine.

This week went by really fast, but it was not the best week numbers wise. Almost all of our appointments fell through, and we didn’t achieve like any of our goals…. But other than that it was a good week. On Tuesday we had Zone Meeting, so we went to Concordia. It went well, but when we returned the Elders had to stay in Concordia for an extra day, and so Hermana Gallagher and I had to take the box of 36 Libros de Mormon back all by ourselves…. It was not fun.

Oh and HAPPY DIA DE ACCION DE GRACIAS (Thanksgiving lol). I made two pies to celebrate, because we had a Family Home Evening appointment for that night, but then it fell through… So we had two pies, and no where to go. So we called up a different member and ate PIE. So fun.

Yesterday was the worst. We woke up, and it was raining. Rain here means that NO ONE will go to church. Literally no one. And it was especially sad because we had like 5 investigators lined up to go to church, but none of them came 😦 Welcome to the life of a missionary.

I’m hoping this week goes a lot better! I love you all and miss you tons!
