Week 15: “he that is faithful in tribulation…”

“the reward of the same is greater in the kingdom of heaven. Ye cannot behold with your natural eyes, for the present time, the design of your God concerning those things which shall come hereafter, and the glory which shall follow after much tribulation. For after much tribulation come the blessings. Wherefore the day cometh that ye shall be crowned with much glory; the hour is not yet, but is nigh at hand” (Doctrine and Covenants 58:2-4). God is so good. Week 15 went much better than week 14!

The highlight of our week is that Lidia is still on track for baptism on the 17th! We taught her the Ley de Castidad y la Palabra de Sabiduría esta semana (aka the lessons of death lol). And to our surprise, she has no problems at all with either of these two commandments! God has certainly been preparing her for quite some time. It has been awesome to see how the gospel has helped her. She is so happy, and there is a new light in her life! VAMOS BAUTISMO. VAMOS LIDIA. VAMOS EVANGELIO!

We also have three new investigators this week, Delia, Juana, and Paula. Delia was a future investigator that we finally got a hold of. She really enjoyed our lesson and accepted a baptismal date! Juana was an investigator back in January of other hermanas, but then she got lost. Yesterday we went to contact a reference, and turns out our reference doesn’t live in the address we were given anymore, but Juana does! So we are going to start teaching her again. Paula was a reference of one of our investigators, Brenda. Paula is 15 and feels very lonely. She was texting Brenda during one of our lessons, and Brenda invited us to come with her to visit Paula, because Paula was having problems with self-harm, so we went and visited. God definitely put us in the places He needed us to be this week to find people who were ready to receive the gospel!

I just feel so blessed to be here in Federal and to be a missionary in general! I love this work and the gospel. I am so grateful to be a part of an eternal family 🙂

LES QUIERO MUCHO MUCHO MUCHO.
